a family tradition is to remember loved ones (parents mostly) on the anniversary of the day they left us with a candle flame. I'd like to believe those souls are stars, looking lovingly down upon me and mine, you and yours...
it was between christmas and the new year that we had a call saying our friend had died, much sooner than expected, and 2011 has scrolled past without her. still can't bring myself to delete her number, though.
